Once you cream your butter and sugar with some milk and then adding the eggs, vanilla and mashed bananas… you are half way there.
Whisk the dry ingredients and then add the wet ingredients to it.
Gently stir in the sliced strawberries in the batter and then pour it in a greased loaf pan.
Bake for about 60 to 70 minutes and then once cool, you can enjoy a slice of your Strawberry Banana Bread.
Can I freeze this Hawaiian Banana Bread?
Yes you can freeze this type of Banana Bread whether as a whole loaf or individual slices.
Once it is cool, wrap it up tightly in plastic wrap and then put it in a freezer Ziploc bag.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp milk
- 1/2 cup butter or 1 stick, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup nuts (pecan or walnut), chopped
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 8 oz can crushed pineapple in 100% juice, drained
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 5 loaf pan with butter or coat with baking spray and dust lightly with some flour.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and ground nutmeg. Set aside.
- In a separate large bowl, beat the sugar, butter and milk with a hand mixer on high speed.
- Add the vanilla extract, mashed bananas, crushed pineapples and eggs to the creamed butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix with a spatula at first. Then use the hand mixer to make sure that all the ingredients are combined together. Do not over mix though.
- Add your choice of nuts to the batter and fold in gently with a spatula.
- Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 60 to 70 minutes or until a knife or toothpick is inserted into the center and it comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven after baking and let it stand for about 15 minutes, before taking it out of the loaf pan.
- Once it is cool to your desire, slice and enjoy.

Hi. This recipe is delicious. Thank you for posting it! I just made your bread and followed all directions. Except, my bread was done in 40 minutes! That's pretty far off the 60 plus minutes that you recommend. Just wanted to let you know.

Last year we moved to a new house and the oven that came with the house takes right around 45 minutes to bake a bread. My previous oven would be the time that's on this recipe. I didn't want to change it to my new oven timing because again every oven gives different timing. Thanks again for giving it a try and that it was delicious.
