Secondly, add the pumpkin pieces into a pot with water and cook. Once cooked, allow to cool.

Thirdly, add the cooked pumpkin with the water and blend. Pour the blended pumpkin in a large pitcher. Then add the Jamaican Irish Moss, Supligen, Dragon Stout, Sweetened Condensed Milk, Mixed Spice, Nutmeg, Vanilla Extract and Appleton Estate Rum (optional) and mix together.

  • 2lb Pumpkin
  • 9.8oz can of Jamaican Irish Moss Peanut Drink
  • 9.8oz can of Supligen Vanilla Flavor
  • 1 bottle of Dragon Stout
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mixed Spice
  • 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tablespoon Appleton Estate Rum (optional)
  • 1 can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 5 cups of Water

Instructions

  1. Divide the pumpkin into smaller pieces, to make it much easier to manage. Remove the center of the pumpkin that contain the seeds and peel the skin off.
  2. Cut each pieces into cubes. Add to a bowl and rinse with water.
  3. Add the pumpkin cubes into a pot with the water. Cover the pot with a lid and allow to cook on medium heat, until tender.
  4. Once it is cooked, remove from the heat and allow to cool.
  5. Pour the cooled cooked pumpkin pieces with the water that it was cooked with in a blender and blend.
  6. Add the blended mixture into a large pitcher (I forgot that my pitcher wasn’t large enough, so I switched to a large bowl as shown in the pictures above).
  7. Pour the Jamaican Irish Moss, Supligen, Dragon Stout, Mixed Spice, Nutmeg, Vanilla Extract, Appleton Estate Rum, sweetened condensed milk and mix together.
  8. Taste to make sure it is sweet to your desire.
  9. Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the Pumpkin Punch over it, if you are in a hurry to taste it or allow to chill in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve.
  10. Enjoy.
