So before I go any further…this drinks is not for anyone under the age of 21 years old.

This is an Adult drinks… only grown folks business.

What is Jamaican Rum Punch Made of

Jamaican Rum Punch Cocktail is made of rum (both white and dark), fruit juice: orange, pineapple and fruit punch with some lime juice.

Canned Fruit Punch: I wasn’t able to get this particular ingredient to use in this recipe. Back home in Jamaica, I would use a canned Grace Fruit Punch Juice. This add that pure red color to the Rum Punch.

I used a Grace Fruit Punch Syrup instead to help change the color

Juices: Pineapple Juice and Orange Juice.

If you can get some of that canned Fruit Punch, then go right ahead and use it.

Rum: Wray & Nephew Over Proof White Rum and Appleton Estate Dark Rum. I had a bottle that I have been hiding (from my husband) in my pantry for months, waiting to make this recipe.

Lime Juice: I used real lime juice. If you aren’t able to get some from your local supermarket, then you can use the bottled lime juice instead.

Does Rum Punch need to be refrigerated

Yes, Rum Punch need to be refrigerated if you are not going to serve it immediately.

Do not add any ice cubes to the punch before putting it in the fridge.

This will add water to it since the ice cubes will melt as it chills in the fridge.

When you are ready to serve, then add the ice cubes to the glass and then pour the rum punch.
